Haverford Systems is revealing its top audiovisual trends for 2026.

The new year brings new excitement in the professional audiovisual industry, as we see all the amazing products and technology that have been under development finally hitting the market.
2026 is no exception, with much new in the A/V world that will change the way your business runs. The Haverford Systems team has spent the last year traveling to trade shows, reviewing new products, and assessing them for our clients, and they’re ready to reveal their top audiovisual trends for the new year.
1. AI-Driven Rooms & Smart Automation
“With the rapid advancement of AI technology, workplaces are entering a period where some abilities might seem like they’ve emerged from science fiction,” said Shawn Thornton, Sales Manager at Haverford Systems. “It’s no longer necessary to just imagine rooms that automatically adapt to what’s happening in them. They’re now a reality.”
Thornton said that in 2026, we’ll see meeting spaces get a lot smarter.
“Think rooms that automatically adjust the lighting, audio, and camera angles as soon as you walk in,” he said.
Meanwhile, he says, predictive AI will also help detect issues before they happen, and centralized control will make everything easier for your team to use.
2. Immersive Displays
Look for more improvements in digital signage and video walls used in common areas for places like office buildings, colleges, and hospitals.
“In 2026, this technology will create even more engaging ways to communicate and grab attention,” Thornton said. “One of the newest options is transparent video walls, which can be mounted on glass to display eye-catching visuals to high-traffic areas. From the other side, it looks like a clear mesh you can see straight through, so it doesn’t distract from the space.”
3. Portable A/V Solutions
“The new portable video walls released this past year are flexible and often make it more cost-effective than renting gear for every event,” Thornton said. “They can easily be moved between presentation spaces or taken down when not in use, so they’re perfect for training sessions, conferences, or any space that needs a quick, professional setup.”
4. Accessibility & Auracast Bluetooth
Auracast, a major advancement in Bluetooth technology, is going to reshape how people listen in shared spaces, Thornton said.
“Soon, anyone will be able to tune into room audio using their own headphones or hearing devices,” he said. “It’s a huge win for accessibility and a simple way for businesses to strengthen ADA compliance.”
